Arcelon Residence operates co-living residences in Central Jakarta, Tangerang and Bali. This notice explains what personal data we collect when you enquire about a room or stay with us, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written to meet Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection (Undang-Undang Pelindungan Data Pribadi).
We rent rooms. We do not sell products online, we do not run advertising networks, and we do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.
Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], operating as Arcelon Residence, at [REGISTERED ADDRESS].

What we collect, and why
When you join the waiting list
Our waiting list form asks for:
- your full name;
- your phone or WhatsApp number;
- your email address;
- the property you are interested in;
- your estimated move-in date and planned length of stay;
- any message you choose to add; and
- an identity document or personal profile, uploaded as a PDF or image.
We use this to answer your enquiry, hold your place on the waiting list, check that we can accommodate the stay you are asking for, and prepare a tenancy if you decide to take a room. The legal basis is your consent when you submit the form, and, once you take a room, the performance of your tenancy agreement.
Identity documents
The identity document you upload is used to verify who is applying, to prepare the tenancy agreement, and, where you are a foreign resident, to support the address registration that Indonesian law requires of you. We do not use it for any other purpose.
If you would rather not upload a document through the website, contact us on WhatsApp and we will arrange another way to verify your identity.
When you contact us on WhatsApp
The WhatsApp buttons on this site open a conversation in WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta. Your message, your number and your profile details are handled by WhatsApp under Meta’s own privacy terms, which we do not control. We keep the conversation so that we can answer you and keep a record of what was agreed.
When you visit this website
Our hosting provider records standard server logs, including your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. These are used to keep the site available and secure.
Besides the functional cookies WordPress needs to work, this website loads Google Tag Manager, which we use to run Google Analytics. Analytics tells us which pages people read and where they arrive from, in aggregate. It sets cookies in your browser and shares your IP address and page views with Google.
We do not use advertising or profiling cookies. If we add any tag that does, we will update this notice before switching it on.
You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on, or by blocking cookies for this site in your browser.
Who we share it with
Your data is seen by Arcelon Residence staff who need it to answer your enquiry or manage your tenancy. Beyond that, it may be handled by:
- our website hosting and email providers, who process it on our instructions;
- Meta, if you choose to contact us through WhatsApp;
- Google, which receives the analytics data described above; and
- Indonesian government agencies, where the law requires it — for example, the civil registration service (Dinas Dukcapil) or the immigration office in connection with a resident’s address registration.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to a tenancy: we keep the enquiry for 12 months, then delete it.
- Identity documents where no tenancy follows: deleted within 30 days of the enquiry closing.
- Tenancy records: kept for the length of your stay and afterwards for as long as Indonesian tax and record-keeping rules require.
You can ask us to delete your data sooner. Where we are legally required to keep a record, we will tell you.
Your rights
Under Law No. 27 of 2022 you may ask us to:
- tell you what data we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct anything that is wrong or out of date;
- delete your data, or stop processing it;
- withdraw a consent you have given, at any time; and
- object to how we are using your data.
Write to us at [PRIVACY CONTACT EMAIL] and we will respond within the period the law allows. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the supervisory authority responsible for personal data protection in Indonesia.
Keeping your data safe
We restrict access to enquiry data and identity documents to the staff who need it, and we hold them only for the periods set out above. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires if a breach affects your data.
Children
Our residences are let to adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Where the change is significant, we will tell the residents and applicants it affects.
